Phoenix, Arizona - Photographs of Mexican missing men and women lie on the grass of the Civic Space Plaza in Downtown Phoenix while members of the "Caravan for Peace with Justice and Dignity" take a break to have dinner. On the upper center there is the picture of 24 year-old Georgina Ivonne Ramírez Mora, who went missing on May 2011. The "Caravan for Peace with Justice and Dignity" stopped in Phoenix on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 as it travels across the United States as a way to create awareness in the United States about the failed drug war in Mexico that has left more than 70,000 dead. The caravan is led by Mexican poet, essayist, novelist, and journalist Javier Sicilia, whose son Juan Francisco Sicilia Ortega son was brutally murdered along with six other students in Morelos, Mexico by members of a drug cartel on March 28, 2011. In response, Sicilia created the Movement for Peace with Justice and Dignity --popularly known as ¡Ya Estamos Hasta la Madre! or We Have Had It!-- calling for an end the drug cartels bloodshed.
