Thousands of protestors march for immigration reform

Phoenix, Arizona. May 29, 2010 - Thousands of demonstrators participated in a pro-immigration reform rally and march to protest the recent enactment of Arizona controversial immigration law SB 1070, also known as the "Show Me Your Papers" law. People gathered at Steele Indian Park and marched from there to the Arizona State Capitol. This scene shows a man wearing a sign on the back of his T-shirt that reads "I Might Be Illegal," in reference to the practice of racial profiling critics of the SB 1070 law say will cause once it is put into effect. Since the massive immigration demonstrations in 2006, Arizona has been called "ground zero" of the immigration debate, mainly due to legislation approved to fight illegal immigration in the state.
